Vampire Tour
of San Francisco |
Starting from USD $20.00 |
|
Vampires - They're not just for Halloween anymore! The Vampire Tour of
San Francisco is an ongoing event that takes place every Friday and
Saturday night (unless it's raining hard). Join your host, Mina Harker,
and explore the gothic side of Nob Hill as she takes you to 7 stops
including The Grace Cathedral, The Nob Hill Cafe, Huntington Park, The
Pacific-Union Club, The Fairmont Hotel, The Mark Hopkins Hotel, and
The Marines' Memorial Club. Mina will tell you the history of each of
these stops, and how Vampires played a role in that history. You might
call it, "History with a Twist."
This is a walking
tour that starts at 8:00pm on the corner of California and Taylor
Streets, just outside Huntington Park, and lasts about 2 hours. Nob
Hill can get pretty chilly, so dress warm and wear comfortable shoes.
(There's a steep three block walk down to the last stop, but don't
worry, it will be taken slowly!) Feel free to come in costume!
Reviews:
"Burns, who moonlights as a playwright and actress, has created a
chilling script for her San Francisco Vampire Tour, which leads locals
and tourists on a two-hour walk. In addition to the wacky vampire
stories, she divulges lots of intriguing history about the city". San
Francisco Chronicle
